Dear Friends,    When I was asked to serve as the Treasurer for the SDB World Federation, I was delighted. Although I had no previous experience with the World Federation, I grew up being very involved with the SDB Conference of USA/Canada, and I have been working internationally in various ways for the past ten years. The first time I traveled overseas was to do outreach and children’s work with churches in the Jamaican Conference. It whetted my appetite for more work throughout the SDB conferences of the world. After that, I had many opportunities to travel and I was able to live in China for two years. Since moving back to the United States in 2006, my employment as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages has allowed me to continue international work in a different way. Serving the World Federation is a perfect fit! I look forward to working with the World Federation to fulfill its purpose – promoting communication, fellowship and projects of mutual interest among our brothers and sisters around the world.  I look forward to hearing from you!
